Chesterfield Community Health Care Trust processed 1100 of our invoices in 1999. By switching to using the Purchasing card, they saved £30 per invoice - £33,000.          Another customer of ours calculated that the cost of placing an order for low-value goods was £25 per order. They placed 4,950 of these types of orders in a year. By placing these orders with companies who use the Purchasing Card, they saved virtually all of the £25 purchasing costs (£123,750.)            Interestingly, the total value of these 4,950 orders represented only 0.5 % of the companies total spend.        This demonstrates where the real saving are made with products like office supplies - the purchase/invoice process.          If you would like to know more about purchasing card implementation please phone Ashley Walker on 0114 243 3181.
